Working with clients for over 20 years at Accountants Plus helping owner managed businesses to grow and minimise tax.Outside of work my passion is coaching youth football which I have been doing for over 6 years now.

My main role will be to prepare year end accounts. With 5 years experience I have worked with a variety of clients providing vat & bookkeeping, payroll, audits and charity accounts.

Outside of work, I have a very busy lifestyle maintaining ever growing number of dogs. I also enjoy going to the rugby and playing pool.

With a passion for all things business and finance, David knows exactly what makes great businesses tick. Using his extensive knowledge of business success and failure stories, David passes the lessons of the past onto the business owners of the future, ensuring they don’t make the same mistakes as their predecessors and helping them to optimise their growth strategy.

Outside of business, David is interested in people, religion, environment, animals, all things tech and science. After a lifetime of active sport, he keeps fit by trying to out-walk his Golden Retriever every day.

At accountants plus my primary role is preparing annual accounts. I also assist the bookkeeping department which is where I started my career with accountants Plus. Many of the clients in my portfolio are those who I have previously filed accounts and vat returns for.

Away from work I enjoy most sports and socialising with friends and family.

Joining the company over 11 years ago, I have progressed from trainee to the Senior Accountant and Portfolio Manager. In my spare time, I enjoy long walks with my dog and spending time with my niece and nephew.

I am authorised by ACCA to provide statutory auditing services for clients who require this service by law or who elect to have this. In addition, I provide both audit and independent examination services to our charity clients. I also deal with technical accounting matters and support our trainees with both in house training and working towards professional qualifications.

I have been a member of my local community choir for about 15 years and more recently started attending beginners classes in Scottish Country dancing.

With over 30 years experience in the administration of the accountancy industry, I aim to ensure our clients never miss a deadline whether it be filing their accounts or paying their tax on time.

At Accountants Plus I am part of the bookkeeping department, I assist in ensuring VAT returns get submitted prior to the deadline.

I have worked in accountancy since 1992 and manage clients from various sectors ranging from couriers to construction industry clients, engineers and small buy to let companies. In my spare time I enjoy watching sports and socialising with friends and family.

John Brown brings many years of experience in the public, private, and not for profit sectors to Accountants Plus. John is a business management graduate from the University of the West of Scotland, a Prince2 Practitioner in Project Management, and a Business Sustainability Management graduate from the University of Cambridge – Institute for Sustainable Leadership.

The focus of John’s work over the past 15 years, has been developing organisations for sustainable growth, by collaborating with public sector bodies, charities, and private companies, to deliver cross sector results for all parties. This includes senior management and board positions in housing, employability, supported employment, skills, adult & child support services.

I joined Accountants Plus in 2020 as a member of the Bookkeeping department where my primary responsibilities concerned the preparation of monthly/quarterly client bookkeeping and VAT returns. Since then, I have progressed to the Accounts department where my main role is now the preparation statutory year-end financial statements

My job is to monitor customer accounts and motivating customers to pay outstanding invoices through statements, debtor letters and phone calls. Also setting up direct debits.

As payroll manager I prepare and process the payroll, deal with all client queries on all payroll matters, CIS and pensions. I enjoy spending time with family and friends, going to the movies and going on holiday.

Being with Accountants Plus for over 10 years I have progressed in the company. I am managing the VAT department as well as having my own portfolio of clients. I am organised and nothing is too much trouble.

A farmers wife with 2 girls to keep me busy while trying to fit in running from time to time.

Working in accountancy for over 28 years dealing with clients from a wide range of business sectors, I have been with Accountants Plus for over 20 years. During this time, I have had the pleasure of looking after some of our longest standing clients in all aspects of their accountancy needs as well as meeting new ones along the way.

Advising on a wide range of accounting and tax issues – calculations of tax scenarios and advising on what can be done surrounding these – variety of clients going from individuals with a CGT problem to business owners who are looking at CGT and IHT when selling their business or retiring, and anything in between.

Receptionist, incoming mail, Confirmation Statements, Incoming telephone calls, HMRC codes.

Credit Control, dealing with clients in a professional and friendly way. Setting up direct debits, and answering client queries in relation to their direct payments and budget proposals.

Administration duties – utility bills, rate bills, and completing Assessor forms.

At Accountants Plus I am part of the bookkeeping department, I assist in making sure the VAT returns get submitted on time.

In my spare time I enjoy singing and spending time with friends & family.

I have been part of the Accountants Plus team since 2018. My role is to prepare year-end financial accounts and help with client queries. In my spare time I like to spend time with family, go to the gym & socialising with friends.

After 10 years of working carefully on company accounts and information systems of local businesses, I have identified many ways in which practical changes can be made that result in increased profits, better cash flow, and more accurate up to date management information.

My role within Accountants Plus allows me to specialize in introducing financial systems that help business owners reclaim their valuable time, enabling them to focus on growth and management. I collaborate closely with clients to achieve their business growth objectives and provide support in identifying potential R&D claims, assisting in the preparation of detailed reports. My goal is to empower businesses to operate more efficiently and realize their full potential.

Outside of work, I enjoy football, American football, and walking my wee dog, Nessie. I am happily married and a proud parent to my daughter, Orlaith

12 years of experience in preparing accounts and completing tax returns for a wide range of clients. I also help provide both audit and independent examination services to our charity clients.

I am managing the VAT and bookkeeping department to ensure all deadlines are met and team and clients can come to me for support and help. I am also an accounts trainee meaning I prepare annual year end accounts and management accounts for clients.

I enjoy socialising with friends and going on holiday.

Since joining us in 2022, Stuart has put his 30 years of industry experience to the best possible use, specialising in advising owner managed businesses on the best ways to manage their money. When he’s not making our clients money, Stuart spends his time with his family, watching football, and socialising with friends.

I help keep the Accountants Plus office running as smoothly as possible, dealing with clients company secretarial – registration of new ltd companies is my favourite part of the job.

I also help Bryan and Colin dealing with their clients on a day to day basis, and organising their very busy diaries. My specialty though is organising the office Team Meetings and days out.

Since joining in May 2023, Yvonne has brought her 30 years of bookkeeping and accounts preparation experience to the practice. Also, assisting Accountants Plus own credit control team.
